The context
Why this conversation, why now
Events create momentum; most of it is lost between editions. AIFTIS and CMIIE need a formal mechanism that carries 2026 into AIFTIS CIFTIS 2027 and beyond, so the partnership delivers productivity gains for Malaysian industry instead of starting over each year.
With China already among the top three destinations for Malaysia's services exports, the current pathway for Malaysian technologies and service providers to exhibit at CIFTIS, and to find local collaboration in China, can be reinforced through the AIFTIS platform. This roundtable formally opens the working track with MITI, CCID Media and BCGEE as AIFTIS's confirmed technology partners, MPC and PSPN, MATRADE and MIDA, MSPC, and Lao PDR's Ministry of Infrastructure and Housing, extending its reach beyond Malaysia from year one.
